About Us

Established in 2023, Inspire Independent Living Services was founded by two seasoned professionals with over a decade of experience in the human services field. Starting from entry-level roles and advancing to executive positions, we have cultivated a deep understanding of the industry.

Our journey has equipped us with the skills and insights necessary to provide exceptional support and care. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, driven by a commitment to compassion and excellence.

Home Providing Services

Home Finding:

Assisting adults with special needs in locating suitable housing options that comply with HCBS waiver requirements and promote community integration.

Personal Care:

Providing individualized support for daily personal activities, ensuring that services are tailored to the unique needs of each individual and aligned with their Individual Support Plans (ISPs).

Household Assistance:

Offering support with essential tasks around the home to create a safe and comfortable living environment, while ensuring that these services are eligible under HCBS funding guidelines.

Specialized Support:

Delivering customized services that address specific developmental, health, or behavioral needs of individuals, aiming to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life in accordance with best practices.

Community Participation Services

Social Integration:

Social and safety skills in different community settings.

Activity Participation:

Assisting with involvement in community events and local groups.

Skill Development:

Skills that promote active participation and independence in community settings. Life skills as applied to community-based activities.

Advocacy and Support:

Supports to identify and develop individual interest and capacity related to securing employment opportunities including internship.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Connecting individuals with volunteer roles to foster a sense of purpose and community contribution.

Meet Our Team

Samantha Thapa

Samantha Thapa

CEO

Samantha brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across educational and residential settings. She has advanced from direct support positions working with children as well as young adults, to supervisory roles.

Samantha is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and holds a bachelor’s degree from New England College in Business Administration. As a certified instructor in Safety Care, Advanced Safety Care, and Safety Care for Families, she brings a positive approach to supervision, continuing education, and crisis intervention.

Joshua Jenness

Joshua Jenness, M.A., BCBA, LABA

Project Manager

Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fitchburg State University and a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Assumption University. With over a decade of experience in the human services field, Joshua has dedicated his career to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across a wide range of ages.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCB) for the past six years, Joshua specializes in teaching functional living skills and is passionate about empowering clients to achieve greater independence in their daily lives. His work is grounded in evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach, always striving to foster meaningful progress and quality of life.

Saujan Thapa

Saujan Thapa

Director of Quality Assurance

With over 13 years of experience in the human service field, Saujan is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is shown through the ascending roles of responsibility in his career, from direct support up to a directorial role.

He has instilled a significant desire to support and empower individuals with varying ability to lead a life as independently as possible. He is devoted to contributing his experience and skills with the team to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals he serves and staff members supporting them.

Project Manager

With 7+ years of experience in health and human services, Bikram Ojha brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our team at Inspire Independent Living Services. As a Program Manager, he is dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients by fostering independence and community engagement.

His commitment to creating supportive environments ensures that every individual receives the guidance and resources they need to thrive. We are proud to have Bikram as part of our team, where he continues to inspire and empower those around him.
